Brazil initiates anti-dumping investigations against Indonesia and South Africa stainless steel cold-rolled sheets
On February 25, 2021, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat issued Announcement No. 15 of 2021 in the Federal Government Gazette, stating that, in response to the application of the Brazilian company Aperam Inox América do SulS.A., it will deal with 0.35 mm originating in Indonesia and South Africa. The anti-dumping investigation was initiated for cold-rolled stainless steel plates with a thickness of ≤4.75 mm (Portuguese: produtos de aço inoxidável laminados a frio 304). The product of this investigation is pinza austenitic 304 (304, 304L and 304H) stainless steel cold rolled plate. The Mercosur City tax codes of the products involved are 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00 and 7220.20.90. The dumping investigation period in this case is from April 2019 to March 2020, and the damage investigation period is from April 2015 to March 2020.
