New Zealand’s import of Aluminium Plates, Sheets and Strips during 2017-20 reveals uniform growth

However, when the projected import volume and expenditure of 2020 is added with the previous three years, it reflects 89,746 tonnes and $276.55 million.

The aluminium plates, sheets and strips of New Zealand in 2017 stood at 13,559 and the revenue expenditure was recorded $40.83 million, whereas in 2018 the import saw growth by 51.61% as the total import stood at 20,557 tonnes and the expenditure surged to $65.59 million.

In 2019 the nation’s aluminium plates, sheets and strips saw a growth of 22.51%, as the total import volume was recorded at 25,185 tonnes and the expenditure also rose to $76.86 million. The import estimated for 2020 has also been revealed positive with growth by 20.88%, while expenditure ticked up to $93.27 million.
