Australia launches anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation on painted steel strip from China
On May 27, 2020, the Australian Anti-Dumping Committee issued Announcement No. 2020/50, saying that in response to an application submitted by Australian domestic company Signode Packaging Group Australia Pty Ltd, an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation was initiated on imported colored steel strips (Painted Steel Strapping) from China and Vietnam. The products surveyed are carbon steel color steel strips with a nominal width of 12mm to 32mm and a nominal thickness of 0.5mm to 1.5mm, regardless of whether they are rolled or waxed. Stainless steel belts and galvanized steel belts are not within the scope of this case. The investigation period for dumping and subsidies in this case is from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, and the damage investigation period starts from April 1, 2016.
