Canada makes its first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on oil pipes in Taiwan, China
On July 23, 2020, the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) made a decision on Oil Country Tubular Goods originating in or imported from India, Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam and Taiwan. The final ruling of the first anti-dumping sunset review: If the current anti-dumping measures are cancelled, the dumping of the involved products from the aforementioned countries and regions to Canada will continue or reoccur, except for the involved products originating in or imported from the Philippines. The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) is expected to make a final decision on industrial damage in this case before December 30, 2020.
On April 2, 2015, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal made a positive final ruling on anti-dumping industry damage on petroleum pipes originating in or imported from India, Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Taiwan. On February 24, 2020, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal launched the first anti-dumping sunset review of industrial damage investigations against petroleum pipes in the aforementioned countries and regions. On February 25, 2020, the Canadian Border Services Agency launched the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on petroleum pipes in the above-mentioned countries and regions.
