Eurasian Economic Union extends anti-dumping measures against seamless steel pipes for oil and gas wells in China

On August 14, 2020, the Department of Internal Market Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2020/227/AD16R1 in the Official Bulletin of the Eurasian Economic Union, in accordance with the resolution No. 98 of the Eurasian Economic Commission, deciding to extend imports from China The anti-dumping measures for seamless steel pipes for oil and gas exploration (Russian: нефтегазопромысловые трубы) will be valid until May 12, 2021.

On August 18, 2015, the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Resolution No. 101, imposing anti-dumping duties on imported seamless steel pipes for oil and natural gas exploration originating in China at a rate of 12.23 to 31.00%. At the same time, it reached an agreement with some Chinese companies. Price commitments, no anti-dumping duties are levied on companies that have price commitment agreements. On May 13, 2020, the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2020/213/AD16R1 on its official website, deciding to initiate the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on the Chinese products involved.
