On July 28, 2019, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia issued an announcement stating that in response to the application submitted by the domestic Malaysian company BAHRU Stainless Sdn. Bhd. on June 30, 2019, it has decided to deal with products originating in or imported from Indonesia and Vietnam. Cold Rolled Stainless Steel in coils, sheets or any other form initiated an anti-dumping investigation. The preliminary ruling of this case will be made within 120 days from the date of filing.
