The U.S. makes the second rapid sunset review of anti-dumping of oil pipes
On July 29, 2020, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement stating that it will make the second rapid sunset review final ruling on oil pipes imported from China (Certain Oil Country Tubular Goods), ruling that if the current anti-dumping measures are cancelled, China’s products involved in the case will be imported. It will continue or happen again with a dumping rate of 99.14%.
On May 5, 2009, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement to initiate anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations on petroleum pipe products imported from China. On November 24, 2009, the United States made a final anti-subsidy ruling on the Chinese products involved. On April 9, 2010, the United States made a final anti-dumping ruling on the Chinese products involved. On December 1, 2014, the United States initiated the first anti-dumping and countervailing investigation against petroleum pipes imported from China. On April 1, 2020, the United States initiated the second sunset review of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations on petroleum pipes imported from China. On June 29, 2020, the United States made the second rapid sunset review final ruling on countervailing oil pipes imported from China. If the current countervailing measures are cancelled, the import of the products involved in the case will continue at a subsidy rate of 20.90%~26.19%. Or happen again.
