Thailand initiates anti-dumping investigation on tinplate imported from China

Thailand ’s Ministry of Commerce announced that it has launched an anti-dumping investigation on tinplate imported from China, South Korea, Taiwan and the European Union.
This investigation was initiated in response to a lawsuit request by local steel manufacturers Siam Steel Sheet Co., Ltd and Thail Iron Sheet Co., Ltd. According to reports, the dumping margin of Chinese companies to the Thai market was 18.21%, Korean companies 65.93%, Taiwan companies 34.85%, and EU companies 31.35%. Relevant stakeholders have 15 days to respond.
