PVDF Coating System
Color coated aluminium coils/sheets are coated with paint material supplied by PPG Industries Inc (USA), one of the largest PVDF suppliers in the world. It is manufactured in strict compliance with the conditions stated by PPG Industries to ensure that the product is consistently of the highest quality. The products are tested for performance parameters in accordance to ASTM standards as stated in the product performance table before delivery to the end users.

Formability
Color coated aluminium coils/sheets are flexible and can be easily formed into shapes without damaging the coating. It comes with peelable PE protective film which adds protection to the coated surface whilst the coil is in the process of conversion.

Self cleansing
Color coated aluminium coils/sheets are self cleansing in nature. The premium coating material and manufacturing process gives the coated surface a smooth and consistent gloss surface which is inherently low in dirtraction value.Dirt collected are easily washed away after the rain.

The Coating Process

Multi-Stage Surface cleaning and preparation
The multi-stage surface cleaning and preparation is of utmost importance in preparing the aluminum surfaces for the eventual stage of paint application. During this multiple stages process, the aluminum will go through the acid and alkali cleaning before rinsing. The aluminum surfaces will be free of oil, smut and other contaminant.

Application of Primer and Finishing Coat
A coat of primer is applied using computer controlled rubberized rollers ensuring sufficient and consistent coating thicknesses. After Primer is applied and oven cured, a single coat of paint is applied and again passed through the oven for curing under constant recommended temperature.
